ABOUT PROJECT
Drama Pukul 7 is a 2-6 players competitive card game where the players take a role as a character (Hero/Heroine) in a typical Malay drama series. The goal of the game is to eliminate other players to become the sole Main Character of this TV show. You can't have a show with multiple Main Characters, right?
Meja Belakang was founded by two individuals Haireey & Zamri which share the same dream to create a localize game card based on the famous Malay drama which aired at 7pm on the local tv channel.
The game has undergone a lot of creative and innovative processes. All the jokes and gameplay have been constantly modified and adjusted from time to time, based on the feedback given during the testing phase. Haireey and Zamri have got a lot of feedback from the numerous board game and card game events which they attended for the past two years. For them, gameplay needs to suit local players. Therefore, the jokes and the message in each card must have a “local feel” in it. After two years of innovation, the time has come to finally release the card game to the public.

Risk, Challenges & What you can expect?
Being a newcomer to the gaming industry certainly comes with it's own challenges. We are aware that the target we set to overcome might be high, but thanks to MyStartr feature Flexible Funding, even if the campaign target to reach RM15,000 failed, any collections from the campaign will still be handed to us & we are still obligated to reward each and every one of you accordingly.
So basically you will get what you pledged for regardless the outcome of the campaign! That being said, we hope each and every one of you still help us to share this campaign to your cool friends!

We are excited to announce that our campaign here are going to have a stretch goal. These special rewards are call Kroni Premium Cards as it is only limited to pledgers who pledge the higher tiers (tiers RM120 & above)!

About Me
The creators of the card games Drama Pukul 7 (successfully funded in October 2019) and Nak Makan Apa (launched in 2020) have been active in the creative industry for nearly 10 years. By day, we work in 3D animation, but in our free time, we love playing card games, party games, and board games—whether at home or even at the office. I often host game sessions with my colleagues, sharing the fun of tabletop gaming. Over the years, this hobby sparked our interest in creating card games for Malaysians to enjoy. Together, Haireey and Lim founded Meja Belakang Art and began working on card games that we believe perfectly complement the Malaysian lifestyle.
